Dear Quebec Major Junior Delegate: Welcome to Cape Breton Island!

We are delighted to have the opportunity to host your event this year.

Cape Breton Island is world renowned for its hospitality and scenic beauty and we certainly hope you will have some time to explore all we have to offer. You can step back in time to 1744 at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site and awaken your senses along the world famous Cabot Trail, our scenic wonder.

The welcome reception is sponsored by Joe’s Warehouse and will feature a traditional Cape Breton Ceilidh (kitchen party) for your enjoyment. The Sydney Marine Terminal, Membertou Trade and Convention Center, the Savoy Theatre and Bell Bay Golf Club will also play host to events throughout the week.

Information tables set up in each of our sponsoring hotels and our volunteers will be happy to help you find your way around and answer any questions you might have. The Delta will be providing nightly entertainment in their Crown and Moose Pub for your listening pleasure.
